So you want to take your cat out on a walk. This may be very difficult if you dont know the right steps to take. Here are some quick tips to get a better understanding on the process of walking your cat with a harness.The key is taking your time. Yes it is possible to walk any feline breed with a harness. Here are some tips to walking your cat outdoors.

- Make sure you buy an appropriate harness. An uncomfortable leash is going to cause all sorts of problems for the cat and yourself.

- Take your time. If your cat has never seen the outdoors before, first introduce your cat to the leash and walk the cat around your house. Your cat can take a few minutes to seem comfortable.. or a few days. Once this step is complete introduce your cat to the outdoors with the leash on. For the first time, just take the cat outside for a few minutes, and build up the ammount of time outdoors with each session. Once your feline is ready, you can take the cat on any walk of your choice.

-Make sure your cat is spayed or neutered. It is possible to walk them if they are not but you might run into some problems regarding other cats.
